Terms and conditions

These terms cover the Debbie's Design Co. webshop, customer accounts, orders, Stripe payments, shipping, returns, and handmade or personalized products.

The consumer-rights sections were checked against official EU guidance on 3 June 2026. EU guidance confirms a 14-day withdrawal period for online purchases, an exception for goods made to order or clearly personalized, return costs for ordinary withdrawals unless stated otherwise, trader-paid return costs for defective goods, and a minimum two-year legal guarantee for faulty or misdescribed goods. The EU ODR platform is closed as of 20 July 2025.

Business registration number, VAT number, and postal address have not been provided in the project materials yet and must be added before they are required in customer-facing order documents.

Terms and conditions

  1. Seller and contact. Debbie's Design Co. is operated by Debbie van Hoogdalem. The webshop is available at debbiesdesignco.com. Customer contact: info@debbiesdesignco.com. Company registration number, VAT number, and postal address are to be completed before customer-facing order documents are finalized.
  2. Scope. These terms apply to all visits, customer accounts, orders, payments, and deliveries through the Debbie's Design Co. webshop. If a separate written agreement is made for a custom commission, that written agreement applies where it conflicts with these terms.
  3. Products. Products may include handmade bracelets, leather pieces, engraving, laser work, glass or metal items, and personalized gifts. Handmade items can show natural differences in color, texture, placement, and finish. Product photos and descriptions are prepared with care, but small variations are part of handmade work.
  4. Personalized and custom work. The customer is responsible for checking spelling, names, dates, sizes, and personalization instructions before placing an order. Debbie's Design Co. may contact the customer to confirm unclear instructions. Once a personalized or made-to-order item is confirmed, it may not be eligible for the standard withdrawal right described below.
  5. Accounts. Customers may create an account to save details and track orders. The customer must keep login details secure and provide accurate account information. Account creation requires acceptance of these terms. Marketing permission is separate and optional.
  6. Orders and acceptance. An order is placed when the customer submits checkout details and accepts these terms. The sales contract is accepted when Debbie's Design Co. confirms the order or when online payment is successfully completed. If an item becomes unavailable or a custom request cannot be made, Debbie's Design Co. will contact the customer and, where payment has been taken, issue a refund for the unavailable item or order.
  7. Prices, taxes, and shipping costs. Prices are shown in EUR. Any shipping costs are shown before payment or confirmed before payment for custom arrangements. VAT or tax details will be completed when the business registration details are finalized. Obvious pricing or stock errors may be corrected before accepting an order.
  8. Payments. Online payments are processed securely through Stripe where Stripe is enabled. Debbie's Design Co. does not store card numbers. Payment status and refunds are recorded in the shop records. If a paid order is cancelled or deleted by the shop, the system is designed to issue or record the appropriate refund automatically.
  9. Delivery and tracking. Delivery times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Tracking information is shared in the customer account or by email when available. The customer is responsible for entering a complete delivery address. Risk in the goods passes to the customer when the goods are delivered to the provided address.
  10. Right of withdrawal. For standard, non-personalized online purchases, EU consumers normally have 14 days from delivery to withdraw without giving a reason. The customer must contact Debbie's Design Co. within that period and return the item in clean, unused, resaleable condition. The customer pays ordinary return postage unless Debbie's Design Co. agrees otherwise or failed to state this before purchase.
  11. Exceptions to withdrawal. The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to goods made to order or clearly personalized, including custom engraving, names, dates, sizing, or other customer-specific work. This exception does not remove the customer's rights if the item is defective, damaged, or not as described.
  12. Defects and legal guarantee. If goods are faulty, damaged, or do not match the description, the customer should contact Debbie's Design Co. promptly with photos and the order number. EU consumers have a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty or not as advertised, subject to applicable national rules. Defective return costs are the trader's responsibility.
  13. Refunds. Valid refunds are made to the original payment method where possible, including through Stripe for Stripe payments. For withdrawal returns, Debbie's Design Co. may wait until the goods are returned or proof of return is provided. For defective goods, the remedy may be repair, replacement, partial refund, or full refund, depending on what is reasonable and legally required.
  14. Marketing and privacy. Marketing consent is separate from terms acceptance and is optional. Customers can withdraw marketing consent by contacting Debbie's Design Co. Personal data is used to manage accounts, orders, payment status, delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, and optional marketing where consent was given.
  15. Intellectual property. Debbie's Design Co. product designs, photos, copy, branding, and shop content may not be copied, resold, scraped, or reused without permission. Website design and implementation are by Salem Experience Design and are protected by copyright.
  16. Complaints and disputes. Complaints can be sent to info@debbiesdesignco.com. Debbie's Design Co. will try to respond within a reasonable time. The European ODR platform has been discontinued; consumers may still seek help through national consumer authorities, European Consumer Centres, or available alternative dispute-resolution bodies.
  17. Changes. Debbie's Design Co. may update these terms when the shop, law, or business details change. The terms accepted at the time of an order apply to that order unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Algemene voorwaarden

  1. Verkoper en contact. Debbie's Design Co. wordt geëxploiteerd door Debbie van Hoogdalem. De webshop is beschikbaar via debbiesdesignco.com. Contact: info@debbiesdesignco.com. KvK-nummer, btw-nummer en postadres moeten nog worden aangevuld voordat klantgerichte orderdocumenten definitief zijn.
  2. Toepassing. Deze voorwaarden gelden voor bezoeken, klantaccounts, bestellingen, betalingen en leveringen via de Debbie's Design Co. webshop. Bij een aparte schriftelijke afspraak voor maatwerk gaat die afspraak voor waar zij afwijkt.
  3. Producten. Producten kunnen bestaan uit handgemaakte armbanden, leerwerk, gravures, laserwerk, glas, metaal en persoonlijke cadeaus. Door het handwerk kunnen kleur, textuur, plaatsing en afwerking licht verschillen.
  4. Personalisatie en maatwerk. De klant controleert spelling, namen, datums, maten en instructies voordat de bestelling wordt geplaatst. Bij onduidelijke instructies kan Debbie's Design Co. contact opnemen. Duidelijk gepersonaliseerde of op bestelling gemaakte producten kunnen buiten het gewone herroepingsrecht vallen.
  5. Accounts. Klanten kunnen een account maken om gegevens op te slaan en bestellingen te volgen. De klant houdt inloggegevens veilig en verstrekt juiste informatie. Voor een account is acceptatie van deze voorwaarden nodig; marketingtoestemming is apart en vrijwillig.
  6. Bestelling en acceptatie. Een bestelling wordt geplaatst wanneer de klant checkoutgegevens verstuurt en deze voorwaarden accepteert. De overeenkomst wordt geaccepteerd wanneer Debbie's Design Co. de bestelling bevestigt of wanneer online betaling succesvol is afgerond.
  7. Prijzen, belasting en verzending. Prijzen worden getoond in EUR. Verzendkosten worden voor betaling getoond of bij maatwerk voor betaling bevestigd. Btw- en registratiedetails worden aangevuld zodra de bedrijfsgegevens definitief zijn.
  8. Betaling. Online betalingen verlopen veilig via Stripe wanneer Stripe actief is. Debbie's Design Co. bewaart geen kaartnummers. Als een betaalde bestelling door de shop wordt geannuleerd of verwijderd, is het systeem ingericht om de passende terugbetaling automatisch uit te voeren of te registreren.
  9. Levering en tracking. Levertijden zijn indicaties, tenzij anders afgesproken. Tracking wordt gedeeld in het klantaccount of per e-mail wanneer beschikbaar. De klant is verantwoordelijk voor een volledig en juist afleveradres.
  10. Herroepingsrecht. Voor standaard, niet-gepersonaliseerde online aankopen hebben EU-consumenten normaal 14 dagen vanaf levering om zonder reden te herroepen. De klant neemt binnen die termijn contact op en retourneert het product schoon, ongebruikt en verkoopbaar. Gewone retourkosten zijn voor de klant, tenzij anders afgesproken of niet vooraf gemeld.
  11. Uitzonderingen. Het herroepingsrecht van 14 dagen geldt niet voor producten die op bestelling zijn gemaakt of duidelijk gepersonaliseerd zijn, zoals gravures, namen, datums, maten of andere klantspecifieke details. Deze uitzondering beperkt rechten bij gebreken of verkeerde levering niet.
  12. Gebreken en wettelijke garantie. Is een product defect, beschadigd of niet zoals omschreven, neem dan snel contact op met foto's en het bestelnummer. EU-consumenten hebben minimaal twee jaar wettelijke garantie voor gebrekkige of verkeerd omschreven goederen, volgens de toepasselijke nationale regels. Retourkosten bij gebreken zijn voor de verkoper.
  13. Terugbetalingen. Geldige terugbetalingen worden waar mogelijk gedaan via de oorspronkelijke betaalmethode, inclusief Stripe bij Stripe-betalingen. Bij herroeping mag Debbie's Design Co. wachten tot het product retour is of bewijs van retourzending is ontvangen.
  14. Marketing en privacy. Marketingtoestemming staat los van acceptatie van voorwaarden en is vrijwillig. Persoonsgegevens worden gebruikt voor accounts, bestellingen, betaalstatus, levering, klantenservice, fraudepreventie en optionele marketing wanneer toestemming is gegeven.
  15. Intellectueel eigendom. Ontwerpen, foto's, teksten, branding en shopcontent van Debbie's Design Co. mogen niet zonder toestemming worden gekopieerd, doorverkocht, gescrapet of hergebruikt. Ontwerp en realisatie van de website zijn van Salem Experience Design en auteursrechtelijk beschermd.
  16. Klachten en geschillen. Klachten kunnen naar info@debbiesdesignco.com. Debbie's Design Co. probeert binnen redelijke termijn te reageren. Het Europese ODR-platform is stopgezet; consumenten kunnen hulp zoeken bij nationale consumenteninstanties, Europese Consumenten Centra of beschikbare alternatieve geschilleninstanties.
  17. Wijzigingen. Debbie's Design Co. kan deze voorwaarden aanpassen wanneer de shop, wetgeving of bedrijfsgegevens wijzigen. De voorwaarden die bij een bestelling zijn geaccepteerd gelden voor die bestelling, tenzij dwingend recht anders bepaalt.

  2. Πεδίο εφαρμογής. Οι όροι ισχύουν για επισκέψεις, λογαριασμούς πελατών, παραγγελίες, πληρωμές και παραδόσεις μέσω του Debbie's Design Co. Αν υπάρχει ξεχωριστή γραπτή συμφωνία για ειδική κατασκευή, αυτή υπερισχύει όπου υπάρχει σύγκρουση.
  3. Προϊόντα. Τα προϊόντα μπορεί να περιλαμβάνουν χειροποίητα βραχιόλια, δερμάτινα κομμάτια, χάραξη, laser εργασία, γυαλί, μέταλλο και προσωπικά δώρα. Στα χειροποίητα προϊόντα είναι φυσιολογικές μικρές διαφορές σε χρώμα, υφή, θέση και φινίρισμα.
  4. Προσωποποίηση και ειδικές κατασκευές. Ο πελάτης ελέγχει ορθογραφία, ονόματα, ημερομηνίες, μεγέθη και οδηγίες πριν την παραγγελία. Το Debbie's Design Co. μπορεί να ζητήσει διευκρίνιση. Προϊόντα ειδικής παραγγελίας ή σαφώς προσωποποιημένα μπορεί να εξαιρούνται από το συνήθη δικαίωμα υπαναχώρησης.
  5. Λογαριασμοί. Οι πελάτες μπορούν να δημιουργήσουν λογαριασμό για αποθήκευση στοιχείων και παρακολούθηση παραγγελιών. Ο πελάτης κρατά ασφαλή τα στοιχεία σύνδεσης και δίνει σωστές πληροφορίες. Η αποδοχή όρων είναι απαραίτητη· η συγκατάθεση marketing είναι ξεχωριστή και προαιρετική.
  6. Παραγγελία και αποδοχή. Η παραγγελία υποβάλλεται όταν ο πελάτης στέλνει τα στοιχεία checkout και αποδέχεται τους όρους. Η σύμβαση γίνεται αποδεκτή όταν το Debbie's Design Co. επιβεβαιώνει την παραγγελία ή όταν ολοκληρώνεται επιτυχώς η online πληρωμή.
  7. Τιμές, φόροι και αποστολή. Οι τιμές εμφανίζονται σε EUR. Τα έξοδα αποστολής εμφανίζονται πριν την πληρωμή ή επιβεβαιώνονται πριν από πληρωμή για ειδικές περιπτώσεις. Στοιχεία ΦΠΑ και μητρώου θα συμπληρωθούν όταν οριστικοποιηθούν τα επιχειρηματικά στοιχεία.
  8. Πληρωμές. Οι online πληρωμές γίνονται με ασφάλεια μέσω Stripe όταν είναι ενεργό. Το Debbie's Design Co. δεν αποθηκεύει αριθμούς καρτών. Αν πληρωμένη παραγγελία ακυρωθεί ή διαγραφεί από το κατάστημα, το σύστημα έχει σχεδιαστεί να εκδίδει ή να καταγράφει αυτόματα την κατάλληλη επιστροφή.
  9. Παράδοση και tracking. Οι χρόνοι παράδοσης είναι εκτιμήσεις εκτός αν συμφωνηθεί κάτι διαφορετικό. Το tracking κοινοποιείται στον λογαριασμό ή με email όταν υπάρχει. Ο πελάτης ευθύνεται για πλήρη και σωστή διεύθυνση αποστολής.
  10. Δικαίωμα υπαναχώρησης. Για τυπικές, μη προσωποποιημένες online αγορές, οι καταναλωτές της ΕΕ έχουν συνήθως 14 ημέρες από την παράδοση για υπαναχώρηση χωρίς αιτιολογία. Ο πελάτης επικοινωνεί μέσα σε αυτή την προθεσμία και επιστρέφει το προϊόν καθαρό, αχρησιμοποίητο και σε κατάσταση επαναπώλησης. Τα συνηθισμένα έξοδα επιστροφής βαρύνουν τον πελάτη, εκτός αν συμφωνηθεί αλλιώς ή δεν ενημερώθηκε πριν την αγορά.
  11. Εξαιρέσεις. Το δικαίωμα υπαναχώρησης 14 ημερών δεν ισχύει για προϊόντα που κατασκευάζονται κατά παραγγελία ή είναι σαφώς προσωποποιημένα, όπως χαράξεις, ονόματα, ημερομηνίες, μεγέθη ή άλλα ειδικά στοιχεία πελάτη. Η εξαίρεση δεν περιορίζει δικαιώματα σε περίπτωση ελαττώματος ή λανθασμένης περιγραφής.
  12. Ελαττώματα και νόμιμη εγγύηση. Αν προϊόν είναι ελαττωματικό, κατεστραμμένο ή δεν ταιριάζει με την περιγραφή, ο πελάτης επικοινωνεί άμεσα με φωτογραφίες και αριθμό παραγγελίας. Οι καταναλωτές της ΕΕ έχουν ελάχιστη νόμιμη εγγύηση δύο ετών για ελαττωματικά ή μη ορθά περιγραφόμενα προϊόντα, σύμφωνα με τους εφαρμοστέους εθνικούς κανόνες. Το κόστος επιστροφής ελαττωματικού προϊόντος βαρύνει τον έμπορο.
  13. Επιστροφές χρημάτων. Έγκυρες επιστροφές γίνονται όπου είναι δυνατό στην αρχική μέθοδο πληρωμής, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του Stripe για πληρωμές Stripe. Για επιστροφές λόγω υπαναχώρησης, το Debbie's Design Co. μπορεί να περιμένει μέχρι να επιστραφεί το προϊόν ή να δοθεί απόδειξη αποστολής.
  14. Marketing και ιδιωτικότητα. Η συγκατάθεση marketing είναι ξεχωριστή από την αποδοχή των όρων και είναι προαιρετική. Τα προσωπικά δεδομένα χρησιμοποιούνται για λογαριασμούς, παραγγελίες, κατάσταση πληρωμής, παράδοση, υποστήριξη πελατών, πρόληψη απάτης και προαιρετικό marketing όταν έχει δοθεί συγκατάθεση.
  15. Πνευματική ιδιοκτησία. Τα σχέδια, φωτογραφίες, κείμενα, branding και περιεχόμενο του Debbie's Design Co. δεν επιτρέπεται να αντιγραφούν, μεταπωληθούν, συλλεχθούν ή επαναχρησιμοποιηθούν χωρίς άδεια. Ο σχεδιασμός και η υλοποίηση της ιστοσελίδας είναι της Salem Experience Design και προστατεύονται από copyright.
  16. Παράπονα και διαφορές. Παράπονα αποστέλλονται στο info@debbiesdesignco.com. Το Debbie's Design Co. θα προσπαθήσει να απαντήσει σε εύλογο χρόνο. Η ευρωπαϊκή πλατφόρμα ODR έχει καταργηθεί· οι καταναλωτές μπορούν να ζητήσουν βοήθεια από εθνικές αρχές καταναλωτή, Ευρωπαϊκά Κέντρα Καταναλωτή ή διαθέσιμους φορείς εναλλακτικής επίλυσης διαφορών.
  17. Αλλαγές. Το Debbie's Design Co. μπορεί να ενημερώνει αυτούς τους όρους όταν αλλάζει το κατάστημα, η νομοθεσία ή τα επιχειρηματικά στοιχεία. Οι όροι που έγιναν αποδεκτοί κατά την παραγγελία ισχύουν για την παραγγελία, εκτός αν υποχρεωτικός νόμος ορίζει διαφορετικά.
